Paragliding Training
on the
South Downs

The Weather Factor

Paragliding is a potentially dangerous adventure sport.  One of the main factors affecting the level of danger that we are exposed to is the weather.  Therefore, if the weather is unsuitable for paragliding or for your skill level on the day/s you have booked then we may have to cancel and re-schedule.  We will contact you the day before to confirm conditions look suitable, and if the forecast indicates that there is a reasonable chance to paraglide we will go ahead. However, we can get it wrong, just like the weathermen/women, so it is still possible that we may have to cancel on the day or wait for the conditions to improve.

What To Wear And
Bring With You

The South Downs where we operate is exposed and can be chilly even on a sunny day.  Please dress warmly - layers are best so you can take some off if you get too warm. Wear stout footwear, BOOTS WITH ANKLE SUPPORT are best (we reserve the right not to teach you if your footwear is unsuitable) check with us if you are unsure.  Bring plenty of WATER to drink, and a packed lunch is also a good idea as some sites are a fair distance from any shops.

If you need further advice on any of the above please do not hesitate to contact us on 07870 394 118.
