Lanzarote in the Canary Islands has long been a favoured flying
destination for many pilots and schools leading up to Christmas.
Cheap flights, a warm climate, azure blue ocean, luxury accommodation,
excellent seafood and its unique flying sites with large smooth thermals
all add up to one thing, paradise.
Lanzarote in Dec offers a better chance of flying than in the UK and the rest of Europe. We average three or four days out of six, plus it is only four hours flying time from Gatwick so no jet lag. Its unique volcanic terrain is dramatic and local farming methods have evolved sympathetically to create very special scenery that is stunning and should not be missed, especially from the air.

help/advise you organise your flight. You must also be a BHPA member and have medical insurance that covers air rescue and repatriation.
